This issue came in a first state gatefold cover, only Nils Lofgren is credited on piano (back sleeve), and includes a 20.25" x 22.75" foldout lyrics sheet. Tan Reprise labels without Warner Communications "W" logo in rim text. Labels: RE1 on both labels, following ‘31,009’ on side A and ‘31,010’ on side B. Runouts: ‘Re1’ in runouts side A, but ‘Re2’ on side B, due to a different mastering where track 4 side B ‘When You Dance …’ has an actual time of 4:00, not the same indicated on label (3:44). Similar copies having ‘Re1’ on both runouts (sides A and B) are out of place. The right release should be [r26066044 . [Artisan logo (an ‘A’ for Artisan on a couple of concentric rings) appears as a double drumsticks coming out of a circle and it’s stamped in runouts indicating mastering/cutting at Artisan Sound Recorders. Small "ᴘ" stamped in runouts denotes a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman pressing. Runouts are etched, except for stamped [Artisan logo and Pitman "ᴘ" on one or both sides. Additional stampings (letters/numbers) are reported just for some variants as they could be incomplete and hardly visible.
